I am passionate about social/environmental change and justice and I believe wholeheartedly in the inherent power of every person to make the world a better place.

I have long advocated on behalf of those who live far below the poverty line, are homeless, or are otherwise unable to fully realize their potential. Additionally, I have spoken extensively to groups on topics ranging from chemical dependency to childhood abuse to the inequitable distribution of toxic industry in poor communities.

I have been described as a dynamic thought-leader with a proven ability to connect relationships between people, place, process and policy to deliver strategic results. People say my holistic approach to problem solving and talent for hearing what isn’t being said makes me a highly effective leader and social advocate. I have often felt that I straddle two worlds by having the mind of business leader and the heart of a non-profit founder.

I enjoy hiking, camping, laughing uncontrollably as much as possible, and, perhaps most importantly, being involved in community. My own experiences with personal transformation guide my choices in life, grounding me deeply in a commitment to being of service to those who are suffering.

For more insight into my psyche, check out my responses to questions adapted from “Inside the Actor’s Studio” hosted by James Lipton which adapted them from “Bouillon de Culture” hosted by Bernard Pivot.
